Nutravita - leading health brand

Context & Challenge

Nutravita is a UK-based supplements brand producing natural, UK-made products. The business had achieved solid traction on Amazon, but direct-to-consumer sales through its Shopify website were significantly underperforming.

The leadership team recognised the commercial risk of over-reliance on a single marketplace. They wanted to strengthen brand presence, build direct customer relationships, and grow owned-channel revenue. However, with a small product range online, minimal search visibility, and limited trust signals on-site, the website was failing to attract or convert meaningful traffic.

In short, Nutravita had strong products, but an ecommerce channel that was not yet working as a growth engine.

Decision & Approach

Initial options included increasing paid spend to drive traffic quickly, or expanding product range online. However, it became clear that adding traffic or products without fixing the underlying digital foundations would simply scale inefficiency.

Instead, we agreed to build a structured roadmap that would:

  • Make the website discoverable in search

  • Increase on-site trust and credibility

  • Improve conversion from existing and future traffic

  • Create a scalable model for long-term DTC growth

This approach balanced immediate commercial fixes with longer-term brand and acquisition strategy.

Execution

We began with a full digital and ecommerce review, identifying barriers across visibility, trust, and conversion. Key execution areas included:

Website & Conversion Optimisation

  • Improved product and homepage copy to clarify USPs

  • Clearer pricing and cross-sell structure

  • Introduction of testimonials and customer proof

  • Implementation of returns policies, privacy notices, and Ts&Cs to strengthen trust

Search & Content Strategy

  • Fixing metadata and indexing issues that left the site almost invisible on Google

  • Defining a keyword and content plan

  • Introducing a consistent blog strategy to build organic visibility over time

Brand Credibility & Reputation

  • Recommendations for customer video reviews

  • PR activity to counter negative third-party search results

  • Influencer outreach to build external validation

Growth & Acquisition Tactics

  • Competitions and email capture to build owned audiences

  • PPC and Google Shopping setup to compete in a crowded category

  • A phased acquisition roadmap aligned to budget and ROI expectations

Rather than isolated tactics, Nutravita received a connected digital growth plan designed to move the business from platform dependence to owned-channel strength.

Outcomes & Impact

By the end of the engagement, Nutravita had:

  • A clear digital roadmap for DTC growth

  • A website structured to earn trust and convert visitors

  • A search strategy to improve long-term discoverability

  • Acquisition tactics ready to drive scalable traffic

  • A defined path away from reliance on Amazon alone

The foundations were in place to:

  • Increase website visibility in search results

  • Strengthen brand credibility with consumers

  • Improve conversion from existing traffic

  • Build predictable growth through PPC, Google Shopping, and content marketing

Nutravita is now positioned to scale paid acquisition, expand content reach, and grow direct-to-consumer revenue alongside its Amazon presence - with a digital foundation designed for sustainable growth.
